Usually the first Thursday of every month. Due to OSH, the August meeting is usually delayed to 2nd Thur. Check this calendar or the EAA62 newsletter for details.
The offical part of the meeting starts 7:30pm in the Reid-Hillview Airport Terminal, hangar-flying from 6:30-7:30pm. Hot dogs may be served during the summer months. Be sure to check the events calendar for changes dates, and venues.

EAA 292 is hosting their annual Fly-In and STOL Expo on August 16-18 2019 at the Independence Oregon Airport (7S5).
Saturday features Van’s Homecoming, aviation forums, mid-Willamette Valley wine tours and other aviation activities. Sunday is our 3rd annual STOL Expo with a full STOL event. Our sponsors for these events are Van’s, Lightspeed and CubCrafters. Attached is a poster. More details are posted on our web site http://www.EAA292.org as they develop. Registration is now open.

He is also a CFI instructing in the Pilatus Porter/PC-12, Piper Meridian, TBM’s and Citations in addition to the BT-13, T-6, T-28 etc. He started flying airshows in 2012, the first being on September 1, 2012 at the Watsonville Fly-In and Air Show. He is from Big Springs , Texas and lives in Palo Alto, California.

Our Annual EAA Chapter 71 Fly-In will be Saturday May 15, 2021, the Glitz Cafe will be open for coffee to start the day After many years of hosting the fly-in on the 1st Saturday of June, we are trying something different this year. Hopefully the weather will be perfect! It will be a casual get together, and we'd love to see the ramp full of planes from near and far after this past year of isolation. If you're proud of that flying machine and just want to show it off, have a fun weekend, meet some new friends don't miss this year's Minter Field Air Museums Wings N Wheels.
It's that time again so. Circle your calendar, Saturday November 4th will be the day for the 6th annual Wings N Wheels presented by Minter Field Air Museum. This year you will see airplanes from WWI - WWII to modern jets and some special airplanes, you don't want to miss this one. Listen to a 20-piece big band playing 40s music you can dance to. See show cars from the1930s to the 2000's There will be all types of military equipment on display. Big display of farm tractors, 1900s to modern Tractors. Plenty of vendors all types of food, beverages and beer. Can't wait to see everyone having a great time.

Please join us at the EAA62 annual dinner at the Alviso yacht club Thursday December 7, 4pm-9pm. Dinner around 6pm-ish. South Bay Yacht Club -- 1491 Hope Street, San Jose Only $35 / adult. Includes a delicious catered meal, and a harrowing talk by Jan Johnson. PLUS a chance to mingle with the entire RHV crew and the tower folk, and meet tons of pilots.
